Organizations
Personal vs. business accounts, switching organizations, and accepting invitations.
Personal vs. business
- Consumer products are used as just you — no company involved.
- A business organization is your company/team. You join one by invitation, and some products are used through that organization.
Your personal account
Your personal account is created for you automatically when your CertiK Account is created — there's nothing to set up. It's what consumer products use when you're acting as just yourself, and it's always available even if you also belong to one or more business organizations. You don't need to create or manage it.
Choosing an organization
If you belong to more than one business organization, you'll be asked to pick which one to continue with. If you only have one (or just your personal account), it's selected automatically.
You can switch later from the organization switcher in the app.
Accepting an invitation
Open the invite link you received by email and sign in (or create your account). You'll be added to the organization with the role the inviter chose.
To manage members of an organization you own or administer, see: Managing your organization.
